St Martin's Hall

The Hall is a registered charity, run by a Management Committee of local residents, and is much used by a local nursery school, Brownies, Guides, Rainbows, children's parties, exercise classes, meetings, celebrations and much more.                                                                                                                                                                                   

COVID 19:  Updated 16th August: The Hall will open to all hirers from beginning of September 2021                                                              though there may be certain restrictions in place.  Due to the ongoing Covid situation we will be guided by the Government rules and regulations for village halls.

All hirers will be advised of their responsibilities when arranging a booking to help us maintain the hall as a safe and clean environment for all. Notices will be put up to remind people to use the sanitiser to be found in the building and to please open windows for ventilation if possible.

The Hall is of a timber construction under a shingle roof. The main Hall measures roughly 56' x 24' and can seat up to 100 people, though for ease of movement 80 is more comfortable.


It has a modern up to date kitchen with range cooker, microwave, fridge and two sinks plus a range of white crockery.


There are separate ladies' and gentlemens' toilets plus a disabled toilet which also offers baby changing facilities. The hall has gas central heating.
